Hello Dear friends, Imagine feeling lonely and down and signing on to your blog, only to find all of these precious, wonderful and loving messages from all of you. I can't explain how touched that I feel. Today is the anniversary of my husband's suicide and this coming Monday is the anniversary of someone else that I loved very much who also died. December isn't the best month for me. It's true that time is a healer, but sometimes it's just not fast enough. I am slowly healing and remembering how very precious that life is. How very precious that real friends are. Friends like all of you. There will never be a way for me to repay all of you for the love that I feel from you. Thank you for being my friends. Thank you for making me feel not so alone. Thank you for the gift of you. You are all so loved.

ValAnne:
We are so happy to have you back. December can be a lonely month, especially for those who have lost loved ones. A friend of ours lost her husband just about two weeks before Christmas in 2005. Now Christmas is a sad season for her.

Whit, thank you for coming by. It's good to be back among friends. My sympathy goes out to your friend on the loss of her husband. Take care dear heart...

I have been barely here this month but I read your blog and feel inspired to let you know I am excited for you. I am glad you woke to find the love of friends here and that you have foind you can love one who loves you in return. That my friend is a great feeling and one that you deserve. Funny, upon reading your blog I also learned that you have Irish in you as well as I do, and my great grand mom was full blooded Indian. I connected a bit with you there.
You have become a real person to us on the blogstream. It's okay to go for a while. We all need that at times. But please don't ever go away for good. What I've realized here on the blogstream is that it IS possible to make 'real' friends on the internet. You, dear ValAnne, are a REAL friend.

Whispered Promise, I am so glad to hear from you. I have been wondering how you were. I KNEW that we were kindred spirits with our Irish/ Indian ancestry... How is your dad now? Take care friend.

ValAnne, so sorry that December is a tough month for you. The day you wrote this post would have been my dad's 91st. birthday, yet although he is no longer here, we were able to celebrate my son-in-law's 30th BD. Fifteen years ago on December 6th my husband suffered a heart attack and stroke. I remember, although it was so hard to be away from our children while I stayed with Chuck in the city 65 miles away from here, the holiday season helped me get through it all since everything was decorated at the hospital and the League House near the hospital for family of patients. ValAnne, I pray you will get through the feelings of sadness and replace them with the Joy of Our Dear Father and Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Love, Karen
